Dear Parents,

The autumn term has been very busy for your little ones indeed!  Our first event, the Halloween party, was a big hit! With classroom-to-classroom trick-or-treating and storytelling with our puppet theatre, a fabulous time was had by all! A special thank you to the delicious and creative contributions of parents.

On November 3rd, Simba Nursery’s children took pride in the UAE with a parade holding the flag and a chorus of the National Anthem.

We also had a blast at our National Day Community Event! The children enjoyed riding the camel, jumping in the bouncy castle, and playing the games, crafts, and activities planned organized by our staff.  Our concert featuring Emirati music and our students’ favorite nursery rhymes was the highlight.

It has been a wonderful start so far with children enjoying the various activities in class and learning Arabic in a fun way. The main focus has been learning colors and the names of body parts in Arabic. It’s a pleasure to see and hear them sing Arabic songs and count in Arabic.

Classes were introduced to the beginning shapes, letters, and primary colors.
